A manufacturer of plastic storage containers and crates needed to recycle rejected PP boxes that accumulated in stacks. The customer wanted to avoid loading every smaller box into the crusher individually.

This example uses an HG6081. Suitability for other boxes depends on their complete dimensions, stack arrangement, material, contamination and feeding method, together with the target particle size and required capacity.
Match the Complete Object to the Feeding Workflow
A long narrow piece and a bulky storage box place different demands on a feed opening. Check the complete length, width and height, together with the orientation in which the object normally arrives.
A conveyor-fed process cannot depend on an operator turning every object to a special angle. When the material, object shape and selected HG opening suit normal feeding, compatible waste can be processed in its original form and manual pre-cutting can be reduced.
