Assess HSS-600 for thick or difficult purge lumps. HSS-400 remains an option for suitable smaller lumps. Material behaviour, dimensions and production needs determine the choice.

Application thickness examples: approximately 50–60 mm for HSS-600 and 20–30 mm for HSS-400. These are not feed-size limits; material behaviour and production needs also determine the model.

Reference capacity uses ordinary-strength, non-reinforced plastic from typical injection-molding applications. Reinforced or abrasive materials are outside this reference.
Inlet size describes the machine opening. Acceptable feed also depends on object shape and feeding conditions.

HSS cutting system and protection
Moving blades work against fixed blades to take repeated cuts through the purge lumps.
Four usable cutting edges
The photographed HSS moving blade is made from SKD11. Rotate and reinstall the blade to bring another cutting edge into service.
Optional screen
HSS comes without a screen as standard. We recommend whether to add one and which hole size to use based on your material, required output size and processing needs.
Three-Retry Protection
Automatic reverse, retry and stop protection helps limit damage when a hard block cannot be processed. Material suitability still needs assessment.
